Willoughby is a most enjoyable strong black tea. You may be struck initially by the real smoky aroma of the leaves, but underneath lies a smooth bergamot that is, in my opinion, even more delightful here than in a typical Earl Grey, because it balances the black tea and the smokiness, forming a rich, harmonious trio in your teacup.
The quality that entices me most about this tea is how easy it is to sip, despite its bold flavor. I can't think of a better analogy than that if it were a chocolate, it would be a rich, dark, melt-in-your-mouth truffle.
